FRIENDS OF NURSING FUND

Together, we can celebrate a decade of impact and ensure future nurses have the tools and encouragement they need to thrive. The Friends of Nursing Fund helps the Gessner College of Nursing meet its greatest needs while removing barriers and strengthening student success. Your gift supports scholarships, uniforms, simulation supplies and meals during intensive training, and special events such as new student orientation, the Hands of Caring Ceremony and Coffee with the Dean.

Your generosity could also make a meaningful impact at these levels:

  • $400 supports student conference travel
  • $500 provides a Cougar Nursing Scholarship naming opportunity
  • $1,000 supports the nurse-managed UH Health Clinic

Sweet 16 Bracket Challenge: Bauer vs. Nursing
Bauer and Nursing go head-to-head in the Sweet 16 as they compete to advance in the UH Giving Day Madness Bracket Challenge. The college with the highest number of donors by March 4 at 11:59 p.m. will move on and unlock $250 in bonus funds.
