Athletics – R12E and WIN (Women’s Impact Now)

This Giving Day, Houston Athletics asks you to support R12E and WIN (Women’s Impact Now). Your contribution will make an immediate difference by improving the lives of our female student-athletes, providing our exceptional coaches with a winning edge, and elevating excellence in women's sports.

To maximize the impact of your participation, all R12E and WIN funds will be distributed equally among our 9 women’s sports programs. This means that your gift comes with 9X the impact!

As a thank you, all R12E and WIN contributors will receive an exclusive R12E and WIN band, made possible by our great friends at Lewis Jewelers. This band will reflect your commitment to establishing the women’s sports programs at the University of Houston as the best in the Big 12.

After a successful 2022 volleyball season in our final year in the American, we are excited to be joining the Big 12 next season. This move requires the University of Houston to elevate all sports and the need for funding in women’s athletics is critical. Cougar Pride’s R12E and WIN is a great way to positively affect volleyball and all women’s sports!’

– Head Volleyball Coach David Rehr

“We know that the Big 12 is arguably the most competitive conference in the country for women’s sports. This offers an amazing opportunity to excel on an elite stage. It also means that we need to support our student-athletes at a Big 12 level. We are not moving to the Big 12 to simply compete. We expect to win so we ask our Cougar Pride members to R12E and WIN for Houston women’s sports.”
