Public Art UHS is the oldest, most significant and only collecting arts organization within the University of Houston System. So many of our students, alumni, and friends have a favorite piece of art they’ve seen on one of our campuses – not knowing it’s part of a collection that is more than 50 years old.
Our community builds very real and personal connections with Public Art UHS programs, exhibitions and robust collections that are accessible and open to everyone. However, the impact of Public Art goes even further.
Your gift today helps fund lifelong learning through exposure, connectivity and access to engagement opportunities for our educators, students, art-makers and art-seekers.
A donation, in any amount, helps create free, accessible and high-quality:
•Field trips, events, resources, and hands-on art-making experiences for our K-12 audiences and educators
•Experiential learning opportunities, fellowships, networking events, research opportunities and ambassador programs for our students and university community
•Artist talks, workshops, community days, open house events and more for our broad community of art-makers and art-seekers
When we come together, we can give the gift of the arts to everyone.
